Games: Trivial Obsession

If one were to say "Gee, Akela, you're kind of a geek," I'd not argue the point. I like to think I'm a geek for all seasons; I geek tech, comics, books, movies, and particular to the topic of this post, games. I know there are a metric tonne of games to be enjoyed in SL, and here is one of them: Trivial Obsession!

Based on the time-honored question and answer format, Carl Metropolitan has put together an engaging and sometimes very difficult quiz show. To play, one merely sits in one of the theater-style seats, whereupon the audience members vie to be the first to click the answer button before anyone else does, at which time the correct answer must be given. As hectic as this is, at a certain point in the proceedings, the challenge changes to being "Who can type the answer fast enough?" The buttons are put away, and the question asked, and whoever types out the correct answer before anyone else does wins. I'm not nearly quick enough on the draw to play this portion of the show, as anyone can tell you.

The prizes are typically provided by various in-world vendors and shopkeepers, and can include gift certificates, items, or even money. Stop by the Shelter on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 PM SL time to play!
