Suzanne Vega to Perform Live in Second Life

"The Infinite Mind, public radio's most honored and most listened-to health and science show, is opening a virtual world headquarters and broadcast facility in the 3-D virtual world Second Life." According to a recent press release."Guests will include visionary singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega, who will be the first major recording artist to ever perform live in Second Life avatar form; best-selling author Kurt Vonnegut; futurist Howard Rheingold; and other notable scholars, researchers and literary figures."

The SL mastermind behind it all? SL's very own Boliver Oddfellow of Dublin Sim fame!

I had the opportunity to see Suzanne Vega in New York's Central Park last year. I'm REALLY looking forward to hearing her again, only this time without the mosquitoes!

3. She will be in world on august 3rd to kick off the week of events that also include Howard and Kurt and a few others tht are yet to be announced. Look for up coming ads in Metaverse Mesenger for exact times and dates.
