Snakes on a virtual plane

When I first heard about the movie 'Snakes on a Plane' I thought it was going to be some weird viral marketing thing for a SOAP company. Boy is my face red. Bizarrely enough, it's a real movie staring Samuel L. Jackson, but really what movie doesn't. It seems like one of those typical forced corny horror films that I hate. Yet, for the life of me I can't explain my overwhelming interest. As it turns out Torley Linden not only shares my mild obsession but took it one step further by actually putting virtual snakes on a plane.

While not necessarily news worthy in itself, yet terribly entertaining, the snakes on a plane experiment was actually useful. Torley identified a bug in the system. Apparently the new update doesn't support multiple selection of objects or batch change. Torley explains that this is very useful when editing large groups of objects, as you now have to select each object separately, thus making a builders life much harder.
