Exclusive: Rock Band Unplugged Track List

Remembering 9/11 Second Life Style

With today being the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, I wanted to give everyone a heads up on some memorial events taking place in Second Life. First the Second Life Library will be displaying replicas of the World Trade Center as well as a location for people to share their memories of the event. This is going to kick off at 6PM SLT. Shikima Riel also has a tribute to the World Trade Center up in world. This one is translucent and has a rather eire feel to it. There is also a fountain and memorial center near by.

There is also a discussion taking place at 7PM SLT, discussing differences in cultures, titled "Why Do They Hate Us?" As well as a depression support group for everyone feeling depressed and wanting to share with a group. No matter the level of involvement you are comfortable with you should be able to find an event to help you through this sad day. If there are other events going on please let us know in the comments section.

Lastly, The Click Heard Round the World blog, that I am citing as the source for this post, reports rumors of a planned re-enactment of the attack. Much like the author of that blog I too find that idea repugnant and hope no one is actually planning to this.
