I was waiting to start filming when I became aware that search wasn't working ... then people started talking about things not working world like lists of objects on parcels. The next sign was a restriction of logins to Lindens only, although I wasn't kicked out of world.

Another grid attack is under way it seems, and the Linden Blog which we are all supposed to look to for information, has crashed or at the very least is unavailable. FYI Lindens, if you are going to refer residents to a blog, you could at least make sure it is hosted somewhere that doesn't crash when the grid has issues.

Perhaps someone will get into work tomorrow and feel like altering that, and then it will be fixed. Or maybe they'll want to work out a way of securing the grid against attacks. Or maybe they will take notice of the residents and stop allowing unverified accounts.

Then again, maybe they will decide that a sunny day in California calls for breaking something that's working perfectly well ... perhaps they can break uploads on head animations the way they have broken hands ... which have apparently been broken for months.

Sorry, I think I am getting ever more cynical about the Tao of Linden. I want to film my machinima, and I can't if the grid is borked by replicating objects etc. I won't put a link to the Linden Blog. It don't work, anyway.
