Linden Lab's maintenance window has completed, 20 minutes ahead of schedule. No information has been provided on the nature of the problem with the asset servers, or what work was performed. Everyone seems to be glad to have the maintenance window complete, and so far there do not appear to be any problems with the grid that are a result of this work.Here's hoping that today is a good one, and that emergency fixes of this nature are few. 6000 people are logged in presently, and approximately 100 more per minute are logging in.
1. Looks like we spoke too soon. I just suffered some serious errors that stopped me from adding my script to the server after editing and compiling in SL. Compulov Weeks of TUi has also reported such issues. Several NCi students are also reporting such issues.
Several minutes after I started logging this issue, we were forced offline and the grid switched to Linden-only logins.
Guess the fix didn't take hold :(
