Camp Global Kids is a summer camp that takes place in Teen Second Life. I have written about them before, but if you were wondering about the specific activities the camp undertook this year you could check out their new 12 page comic. The comic goes through all of the camp activities they undertook this year, from economic inequality games, to an educational maze developed by the campers.
I think this camp would have been really fun as a child. I was brought up in Florida and remember all of my everglades exploration camps, and exploring the wild life of my home state. But we now live in a time of global and virtual communities, so I can't imagine a better way to explore this new paradigm then a virtual summer camp.

I have not had a chance to check out the comic book yet, but as another native Floridian I want to thank you for bringing back memories of my youth, exploring the glades and all the amazing times I had doing it. If global kids can bring that experience to todays inner city kids via a virtual experience I say bravo! and keep up the good work
