Resident Snapshot: Bunny Ambrose

This is the thirtieth in a series of mini-interviews with the residents of Second Life. For the most part, I'll try to leave the responses unedited, except where editing will grant greater clarity.

Bunny Ambrose is Misty Skjellerup's partner, and as such is the envy of many. However, Bunny herself is quite attractive, and I had to bite my wolfie tongue to keep from flirting with her!

Your SL name:
Bunny Ambrose

How did you first come to SL?:
I have played MMOs for years; a good friend who I played Matrix Online with convinced me to give up City of Heroes/Villians. A short time after coming here, the dirty dog left to go back to Matrix Online.

How did you choose your name?:
My first-life nickname is Bunny, and use Bunny for all the games I play. I choose the family name because SL is a persistent world, one can live forever here; Ambrose is from the greek a- ("not") and mbrotos ("mortal"). Ambrosia is, in ancient mythology, the food/drink of the gods.

What's your favorite thing about SL?:
The diversity in SL ensures there always something to do. I enjoy exploring and investigating. The people and communities make SL outstanding. I am blessed to have met truly wonderful people, and am honored to play a part in meaningful groups.

What do you like least about SL?:
Hideous lag, lack of IMs getting thru (really no excuse for this).

Favorite hangout/store?:
Seasons Alter sim, a perfect place to find peace and serenity. As for stores, FooRoo [Eggar (17, 84, 37)] -- for clothing. I can't say enough positive things Lucy Roo and her shop; she's a terrific person who's always giving back to the community. Here Comes Trouble [Troubled City (122, 14, 44)] for prim hair. BabyBoo Glitterbuck is the most talented hair artist in SL, and the prices are so reasonable you'll be a hair addict in no time.

Name one new feature you'd like to see added to SL:
I'd love to see a 4-6gb cache that works correctly -- caching my normal haunts. I don't mind waiting for things to rez when I go somewhere new; but doesn't it seem inexcusable that you can teleport to the same place 5 times in the same day and each time have to wait for that place's static objects to rez?

Shout outs:
To my love Misty Skjellerup; LiquiDiamond Frost -- I think the world of you and your talents; Apples Mousehold; Cryptikchik Carpathea; Pet Frangilli; Amethyst Summers; CobaltBlue Mill; Darkness Nori; Kirina Echegaray.
