The end of one day and the beginning of anotherToday in Second Life we had:
  • 25,788 new signups bringing us to 2,936,375 signups total. The three million signup mark should be passed within the next 72 hours.
  • A peak concurrency of 26,781 at 1:58PM, and a minimum concurrency of 13,089 at 2:22AM. Average concurrency for the day was 19,182.
  • The number of accounts who logged in the last 60 days exceeded one million.
  • At approximately 3PM today, database load issues caused problems for the residents who were logged in. At the start of the trouble, the number of residents logged in was 25,043. When the issue was resolved approximately 15 minutes later, the number was 24,206.
  • Philip Rosedale was declared Innovator of the year by Innovate Forum.
  • A new version of the First Look viewer was released.
  • The Dreamlands 'Plush' sims were the target of a goo attack.
