The redoubtable (and I mean that in the 'eminent, worthy' sense) Rik Riel has announced a significant series of events: In support of the national March for Peace in Washington, DC on January 27th, 2007, members of the SL Netroots will be organizing a march on SL Capitol Hill, beginning at RootsCamp on Progressive Island.The link has the pertinent information, so be sure to check it out. I watched the San Francisco march this afternoon (Saturday), and it was a stirring sight; SF residents are as colorful as any SLer, and just as passionate, as the interview with Mayor Gavin Newsom makes plain. I'll expect nothing less from the Netroots folk!
