WoW Insider is getting ready for BlizzCon!

Yesterday's Money: 27th February

Linden MoneyYesterday in Second Life we:
  • Spent $1,341,000 at an exchange rate of L$269.7 to US$1
  • Exchanged $186,000 at an average of $7,800 per hour.
  • Market buys were $143,000
  • Market sales were $41,000
  • Limit-limit buys were $2,100
  • The busiest time was 1pm when just over $12,000 was exchanged.
  • There was a long quiet time between 3am and 11am when about $6,000 was traded in each hour.
I had hoped to be bringing a report on the new-look WSE. I spoke to their technical guru who said they hope to be launched within a week and when they do I will report on it.

NOTES:

  • My figure for LindeX transactions and the headline on the website disagree quite strongly, they report $211,000 in the last 24 hours. I'm not sure where the discrepancy arises, but I will keep an eye on it.
  • Speaking from memory this is one of the most even days on the LindeX since I started keeping records. There's often a pretty spikey graph, this time the graph is quite flat. That might not be meaningful, but caught my eye.
