There's advertising, then there's advertising. You decide which this is. Calvin Klein Fragrances has beaten the rest of the perfume and cologne world to the punch by being the first such company to develop a presence in SL. I'm not sure exactly how much farther removed one can get from a marketed product, but certainly, trying to tell residents (who have no way to smell the product) that one has a knockout perfume is a great way to do it.Crazy or not, though, they're offering a prize of one million Linden dollars to the winner of the "What are you in 2?" contest, in which residents can enter their shots of things that inspire them. More information when the sim launches on the 21st.
Here's another weird bit from the article: "Situated on Avalon, the first island in Second Life to command a real-world land value ... " Uh ... what? I don't even know what that means! If one of you out there care to enlighten me, there's a cookie in it for you. Perhaps two.

1. Aha, thank you! I like how the article assumes that it's common knowledge. Your cookies will be yours if you can IM me in-world!
