Contemporary art isn't everyone's cup of tea, so to speak. Sadly, due to other commitments I missed the opening of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA) exhibition in Neufreistadt yesterday so I snuck over today to have a look around. There is a wide array of materials, sculptures, paintings, sound and mobile art in the mix. Most poignant for me (and so easily recognisable) is one of Starax's sculptures. I miss those crazy wand updates!
There are many other artists exhibiting here, and if you like contemporary art it is well worth checking out. The exhibition will run until May 17, 2007. There are a few special occasions for your diary, with more to be organised:
