Well, Stroker Serpentine's Amsterdam has sold! An person whose identity is not yet known has acquired this popular adult destination for fifty-thousand US Dollars. That's US$50,000.
Did I mention that they're paying fifty thousand dollars for it? Whew. As yet, all we know is the eBay identity of the purchaser, one nedstede2769. We hope to line up Stroker and the new owner for a longer discussion of the future of Amsterdam and the sims surrounding it in the not too far distant future.
As far as I know, this is a record sale for Second Life. Has anyone heard differently?

1. According to a post I read else-forums, most metaverse development companies wont take a corporate order for a sim for anything less than between 50k$-100k$ USD. So maybe a first for regular folk, and in the public light, but my impression is it isn't truly a first.
