Oh, man. America, can we please make up our minds? Either fight childhood obesity OR give kids more reasons to stay rooted to their computers, but not both. Until we choose, however, we have Webkinz, which are the latest iteration of the Pokémon/Tamagotchi/Furby/Beanie Babies craze that seems to sweep this great nation with regularity. I'm going to assume there's the usual bits: pet maintenance, ability to buy treats and toys for your pets, etc. I don't mean to be a downer here, but I have a 3 year old, and this is the LAST kind of thing I want him to be doing. There's physical toys to play with, actual environments to interact with, real animals to cuddle! And, c'mon ... look at that frog! He REALLY wants you to come play with him. A little too much, I think.

1. It's kinda creepy if you ask me.
It's like looking at Micheal Jackson in a day care.
I'd stick with Loony Toons if I had any kids. O_o.
