Remember the horrid, dark days of Virginia Tech and the shootings last month? Well, the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund was set up to help families and survivors. The SL teaching community, under the guidance of Virginia Tech staff member Milosun Czverik held a silent auction of educational tools (including, in the interests of full disclosure some I provided) and raised L$300,000 (US$1,095) which was donated to the fund.
