Forgive me if the title sounds cynical... but according to the official blog we're running through a rolling restart to fix: - Presence
- Group notices for large groups
- Scripted attachments on group land
- Searchable sales results
- Messages from sent inventory include a slurl and owner information to track spam
- Asset server and dataserver performance boosts
UPDATE: Finally had my first roughly usable email in the new format... they look like:
The object 'SL Boutique Central' has sent you a message from Second Life:
(some message in here)
Object Details:
Region: Sheep island
Position: { 125.959, 126.217, 502.25 }
Owner: Commerce Leader
Slurl: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Sheep%20island/125/126/502
Not much compensation for breaking llGiveInventoryList though.

1. I tried to sign up for SL last week.
I did everything they asked me to do and am waiting for the activation to be sent to my email address, which is the next step.
I've had to wait a week now. I doubt I'll bother to log in the first time. If a company can't do something like a simple email notification, it's a safe bet they can't provide a decent product.
