Today in Second Life - Saturday 19 May, 2007.

The end of one day and the beginning of anotherToday in Second Life we had:
  • 29,591 new signups bringing us to 6,546,153 signups total.
  • A peak concurrency of 41,908 at 2:55PM, and a minimum concurrency of 22,824 at 12:40AM. Average concurrency for the day was 31,435.
  • Some residents staged a protest today about the late Friday software update. Philip Linden took the time to respond to that protest.
  • The fallout of that update is apparently causing some distress, but otherwise the operation of the grid today has been relatively smooth.
