The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) reports that certain features of their island, including an amphitheater and a sandbox had been destroyed by a griefing attack, though it's not known, or not revealed who is responsible.Until everything has been restored to functionality, the island has been closed off to visitors. Is it just me, or has griefing in general taken a slight downturn? We don't seem to be hearing too much of this sort of activity lately, though that might just be due to poor reportage, by both victims of attack, and the media. Regardless, it's always a shame when this sort of thing occurs, because it's just so senseless and hurts the entirety of SL's reputation as a place of growth and safety. Its residents push on, undaunted.

[Update: 3:00am - We've investigated and determined the damage to have been caused by server problems, rather than by any vandalism or maliciousness]

1. Two other island owners reported similar damage to their islands that day, caused not by griefers, but by the rolling restart for the llGiveInventoryList() fix.
