Presumably related to Online numbers problems a service that I must admit I don't use much - friends online from the website - is also broken. The reason I tried to use it this time? I was face-to-race with two friends who showed as offline in-world, so I guess the latest fix for presence hasn't worked entirely either. Of course, without knowing how they process the data it's impossible to be sure that they're related, but guessing there's an online flag and COUNT(online) gives you total residents in a MySQL database is hardly rocket science. That's hard to break if the online field gets updated correctly, if it's not, that would explain presence being broken too quite nicely.
This isn't making me use SL less - a migraine for the last two days is doing that rather well - and it is, indeed, becoming almost the norm. Ah well.
1. This feature never works after an update. I use it at work so I can im my friends via e-mail. Honestly, it's to the point now where I expect things to NOT work after an update. Why do the Lindens continue to add features like sculpty prims when they cant even get the friends lists to work?
