Just before 7am SLT (US Pacific) this-morning, residents began reporting a number of issues on the Second Life grid. Primarily the issues seem to center around the transfer of object and inventory to and from people and other objects. Searching for people and places, classified ads, and - well, all search functions are down. Group member interfaces are not functioning.When the problems commenced, login concurrency was at 31,884. It has already slid to 30,627 and continues to fall. Linden Lab has not posted any acknowledgement or notice about the difficulties at this time.
[Update: 7:30am - Seems like the entire grid suddenly stalled for 30 seconds, then search functions were restored, and login concurrency is climbing sharply.]
1. I wonder if the fact that I can't log into neither the game nor the webpage is related... Very annoying. I was on two days ago without a problem, so it's recent. And as I've a Basic Account, the only way I can get anything like help is the knowledge base system, which only works if you can log in. I've made several attempts at resetting my password, which all seem to work, but still no joy when it comes to actually logging in.
Not the only one who has this problem, as well. Stumbled across one other person who's been having the same problem.
