The Chelsea Flower Show
The Daily Telegraph has recreated its garden in virtual form for SLers to enjoy, though the real plot it's based on has gone the way of its host, the Chelsea Flower Show.
I'm not sure whether the Telegraph will be investing much more in this space, but this is a lovely change from seeing a RL company's brand on top of everything. Indeed, the Telegraph's name is so unobtrusive, you'd think it was an afterthought! This is better viewed in person, so go check it out!

(Page 1)2. Excellent! This is one of the few 'entries of a RL company into SL' that has actually made be feel better disposed to the company after the event. The garden is attractive, understated and the Telegraph branding is subtle rather than 'in your face' with options for people to find out more if they care to. It won't turn me into a Telegraph reader overnight but I like the fact that the company has shown some respect for our world and not just waded in all guns blazing like so many have before.

1. I'm Ian Douglas, assistant editor of telegraph.co.uk. We've been looking at Second Life for a while now trying to work out a way to contribute rather than just turning up and making an island with our name on it that no one comes to. The gardens at Chelsea can be rather inaccessible to visitors so a reproduction in a public 3D space seemed like a great idea. I hope this will be the first of many projects.
