Silent changes, secret rules?
Some Second Life residents are discovering today that Linden Lab has silently removed content. No, we're not talking about your Mute lists being erased again (though this has apparently also happened). We're talking parcel names and descriptions.
Linden Lab has changed many parcel names and parcel descriptions to "Description removed: Please see blog post Advertising Policy". Doing a quick search of sites reveals about a hundred or so, at present. But there are problems with how it was done.
Firstly, no notice was apparently given. We're not presently able to find anyone who was notified that their parcel name and description was or would be changed.
Secondly, the flag that lists the parcels in Search for L$30/week was not cleared, so landowners are paying for their land to be listed with the new name/description into the new week, without being aware of it.
Third, at least some landowners have no idea whatsoever as to what criteria caused the description of her parcel to be changed.

Ohh, great. I just saw this today on "ASI Swimwear, T-Shirt Junkies" and was puzzled what it was about (you'll find their small roadside shop when searching for "T-Shirt Junkies").
I wonder what policy they violated?
