According to Heise Online, German Police have confiscated child pornography from man who is alleged to also have been a Second Life resident. It is not clear whether the material was obtained by or through others using Second Life, or by what means at all. Nor is it stated for what the man was already under investigation, and what cause the authorities had already obtained to search the premises. The arrested man, we are told, attempted to delete the files, but authorities were able to recover them.
This follows a mere few weeks after ARD's TV magazine, Report Mainz apparently using Second Life to create simulated child pornography for a television documentary to demonstrate Second Life's use (actual or potential) for the creation and/or distribution of such material.

1. Odds are it'll be everywhere in the next couple of days with all the 'unsures' removed.
