Canada's Global National TV show started a series about Second Life, and about businesses in Second Life. You should be able to see the video directly here. If you can't, following the first link and clicking the "virtual life online" link will take you there.It looks at a couple of people in depth, one who has added a SL clothes business to her RL clothes business, the other of whom is a developer within SL, coming from a gaming background. It strongly implies that both of them are successful, of course, and it altogether avoids any of the seamy side of Second Life.
