Got plans to go to O'Reilly's open source convention, OSCON, in Portland next week? Linden Lab does. On Friday morning, Philip will be delivering a keynote on the Desktop Applications track, followed shortly after by Rob Linden and Phoenix Linden (aka Rob Lanphier and Aaron Brashears) speaking on the Emerging Topics track.
Rob and Phoenix will be discussing why opening more and more of the source code is a key strategy for Linden Lab, and possibly even making allusions to how Linden Lab plans to make a buck when they do.
