3. Spend all day kicking around SL looking for people to convert and/or ban you from places? Easiest missionary job ever, you don't even have to worry about putting on clothes or getting an AK stuck in your face.

4. Although not catholic, I am protestant. In that disclosure, I want to say I'm not condemning you or others who don't believe Jesus is God. I believe that right doesn't belong to me nor would I want it. But I have some comments relating to your logic which seems inconsistent to the world that I want to share for the sake of bring another color to this picture. Forgive me if I interpret anything incorrectly. And please, do not read my tone as angry. Here's my 2 cents:

"Listen, regardless of your personal creed or religion, chances are two things are likely..."

I think it's presumptuous to think everyone falls into those categories. Are there not many who seek truth and are open to hearing others thoughts? Even in adulthood. I hope so.

"People, we're all adults here. We can make our own choices..."

Unfortunately, not all adults make good decisions.

Secondly, everyone is selling something: their opinion, their beliefs, their religion, their idea of truth or non-truth. Why separate Christians as being a group to mute when in fact you and I listen to(and see) others around us share and live out their beliefs or philosophy all the time? If we've all made our minds up, why even write this article which is a persuasive/opinion blog? Do you not wish to have others believe you? So that is where the Christian stands as well. We want to share what we believe, just like the next person who hopes to find meaning in this life.

That brings up another point though. Sharing our faith to non-Christians isn't the only purpose for the Church. I'm glade you want to point that out here but I think it's important to note that a very big reason for the Church to organize in SL (or anywhere) is to minister to each other. There are many Christians in SL and we believe we need each other. It is essential to our faith.

So I encourage any Christian in SL to connect to a church if you haven't yet. And I invite non-Christians to go as well, if inclined. I attend and recommend LifeChurch.tv on Experience Island: Great streamed in services on Sundays, cool sim, and even cooler people.

Last point I want to make is that many people who've encountered Christianity or see it from the outside can make stereotypes or judgments similar to the media who tends to look at the extremes first. I hope to be open to others and see past caricatures or stereotypes presented and look into the depth of their heart. I hope others can do the same, not just with Christians who are imperfect, but also with Christ who is more mysterious than one can explain.
