Today in Second Life we had:
- 17,562 new signups bringing us to 8,693,893 signups total.
- A peak concurrency of 37,156 at 10:20AM, and a minimum concurrency of 6,218 at 2:12PM. Median concurrency for the day was 29,005.
- Starting about half-past ten SLT (US Pacific) problems at one of the colocation facilities (Linden Lab has not specified which one) caused logins to fail and large numbers of simulators to become unavailable. This also impacted concierge and billing support lines. Difficulties were not resolved until around 5:30PM SLT - effectively undermining the busiest part of the day. Very much like a Wednesday full grid update, only without the update.
