Attentive reader gschultz (which in my mind sounds like a sneeze) sends in this rather more neutral, or possibly even positive take on SL from Diesel Sweeties.
Gamers -- and by that I mean 'hardcore gamers', who argue with each other over which console is dominant, badger each other in online deathmatches, and post comments full of self-righteous venom about the most trivial things -- typically deride SL. I don't know why, and I don't care. The point here, though, is that if SL gets coverage from gaming webcomics at all, it's usually to mock and pour derision.
Second Life just got a mention in G.B Trudeau's Doonesbury ... and it wasn't bad! The positive coverage from the otherwise notoriously snarky political comic comes as a welcome relief after a prolonged spell of ugly press. If parody is the sincerest form of flattery, then we should all be turning beet red right about now.
