Whether or not it breaks the TOS, there is a transcript of yesterday's office meeting with Robin Linden published. There is a lot in there, and it's well worth reading in its entirety, but a couple of things leap out at me.
First, Robin says she's the person that was behind Daniel's post - so she should take the heat. Possibly true, especially if she edited it and approved it because she also reiterates that Daniel's post simply reaffirms the Community Standards. I still can't read it that way, so there's something wrong there.
Second Robin claims that this statement does not act against Gor and BDSM - activities which are broadly tolerated and accepted in SL. She does, however go on to ask:
"Robin Linden: Let me ask you all this. When faced with an opportunity to create a new world where things are supposed to be better, do you think there's a place for slavery, forced sex, and the like?"
