This is the 15th in a series of largely demographic interviews that are conducted with established residents, to find out more about them and their involvement with Second Life, and to contrast the differences between their views and experiences and those of the newer residents. The questions may be tailored slightly for each interview; responses may be edited for purposes of clarity.

Otenth's typist came into Second Life out of boredom but was totally charmed by the creative potential. Otenth founded the First Friends Church of Second Life (Quakers) and owns the residential sim Wyre.

Two big ones today! This week, we're looking at Blaze Fine Fashions, and Magellan House - both recommended by a number of SLI readers. We're still looking for places to review, so if you have a favorite men's store which has clothing, accessories, shoes, skins, hair, gadgets, or anything else you can think of, let us know. If our test audience buys something, we'll write it up the store here.

There are a lot of residents cheering on specific teams, but with 32 sims, the campsites may be hard to locate. Christopher Sterling has provided me with a map of the locations, which I've deciphered and SLURL'd for you! Please keep in mind that the sims are listed in the order that they would go around the track, and the teams listed left to right, top to bottom.

On a walking tour through Caledon recently (well, it started out as a falling tour, really, but who's keeping track?), I ran across the Katat0nik Subsection of Steam SkyCity, where I met EllisDee Welinder and Katat0nik Pidgeon, the artists behind the works you'll see in the gallery. Each of these pieces is something I'd love to have on my walls -- if I actually had walls upon which to mount them. Seriously, you need to see this stuff, not just by Ell and Kat, but also 713 Ayres. Actually, being surrounded by their artwork all the time might unhinge my mind. If that's something you're interested in, though, please visit this gallery and buy something!
