The camping chair evolved into the dance-mat/dance-pad -- with few exceptions (and exceptions apparently do exist) cheating new residents into exchanging Real Life money (in the form of electricity and connection costs) into L$ at a dubious exchange rate to drive up traffic. But there are other things you can do with one of those pads.
