DJs Trinity Serpentine and Nala Galatea are moving their RL selves to Chicago, and it's not going to be an easy trip. They're going to have to sell a lot of their things just to be able to afford the move, so they're having a party this Saturday from 8 PM to 12 midnight at Provincetown Beach.

I know neither of them wanted to ask for help, but at the urging of friends (including myself), they've opened themselves to aid. I've said all along that one of the greatest attributes of the SL community is its altrusitic nature. TriNala (as they're affectionately known in their duo configuration) have been fine examples of this, sponsoring fundraisers and awareness events in the past, including the previously-blogged Cancer Fundraiser.

Trinny and Nala are two of the sweetest, most generous SLers I've met, and they need a little help. Besides that, they play a mean show! Saturday, 8 PM. Be there, or be a rhombus ... 'cause they're funkier.

Drum roll, please: the date and time of the registration of the millionth user was October 18th, 2006, at 08:05:45 AM, SL Time. The one millionth resident's name is Farley Atlantis, and I'll be contacting him/her soon for an interview (if he/she will have me!), but I know that you're all waiting for the name of the winning resident.

Interestingly enough, only 3 people guessed the date correctly. With a prediction of 8:30 AM, the winner is ...

Hey, everyone, this is what a social network is all about. The Radio Radio DJ team of Trinity Serpentine and Nala Galatea are holding a fundraiser to support Sangi Phaeton's RL daughter, Tiffany, in her ongoing struggle against cancer.

The event starts this Saturday at 8 PM (SL Time) and runs until Midnight in Provincetown Beach. I urge you all to attend, or if you can't make it in person, to please donate whatever you can. I'm sure many of you have either gone through a crisis yourselves, or have known someone who has. It's impossible to know exactly what Sangi is going through, but we can at least give our support.
